Terms of Service

Plain English. No surprises. Last updated June 13, 2026.

TL;DR

We publish tutorials about npm v12 breaking changes. Code samples are free to use. If something breaks in your setup, test before production. We're not affiliated with npm, Inc., GitHub, or Microsoft. That's most of what you need to know.

1. Using the Site

By browsing installsafe.dev, you agree to these terms. They're here to keep things clear and fair.

2. Our Content

Everything on this site — tutorials, guides, code snippets, configuration examples — is for educational purposes. We test everything we publish, but package managers evolve fast and every project is different.

3. Code Samples

All code samples, shell scripts, configuration snippets, Dockerfiles, and CI/CD configurations published on this site are free to use in your own projects — personal or commercial. No attribution required. That's what they're for.

4. What You Can't Do

Our articles, guides, and written content — please don't republish them elsewhere without permission. If you want to reference or quote us, link back to the original page.

5. Disclaimers

We work hard to make everything accurate and useful, but we can't guarantee it'll work perfectly in every environment. We're not liable for any issues that arise from using our content — including broken builds, CI failures, production downtime, or data loss. Use good judgment, test before deploying, and have a rollback plan.

6. Updates to These Terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If we add paid products or change the site significantly, we'll note it here.
